| Georgia China Alliance today announced the appointment
of five new directors to its board.
Dr. Charles L. Liotta, Vice Provost for Research and Dean of Graduate
Studies for the Georgia Institute of Technology, joined the Georgia
Tech faculty as an assistant professor in 1965. In 1997, he became
a Regents' Professor, a title he holds concurrent with the Vice
Provost position.
Dr. H. Fenwick Huss became Dean of the J. Mack Robinson College
of Business in July 2004 after having served as associate dean of
the college for the past six years. He was previously director of
the college School of Accountancy.
Penelope B. Prime is Professor of Economics in the Department of
Economics & Finance at the Coles College of Business, Kennesaw
State University. Dr. Prime is the Director of the China Research
Center. Her research focuses on Asia's economy and business environment,
with a particular focus on China.
Scott Ellyson is the CEO of East West Manufacturing, an offshore
contract manufacturing company headquartered in Atlanta. Mr. Ellyson
has made over 50 trips to Asia in the past ten years and presently
he spends about one-third of his time in Asia.
Thomas Williams is Zoo Atlanta vice president of Government Relations
and Community Affairs. Before joining the Zoo in April 2004, Thomas
served as the National Chapter Development Liaison Manager for 100
Black Men of America, Inc. Thomas served as an advisor to the National
Chairman, Executive Committee and Chief Operating Officer and also
acted as a liaison between national programs and the international
chapter network.
