Twin Gates Trading was founded in 2004 by Chairman and President Ira Phillips. Twin Gates’ President, Ira Phillips, has nine years experience in China with five years experience as the CEO of a major importing and distribution company. He is also Chairman and President of Shanghai Phillips Construction Equipment Company and Twin Gates Development. Ira serves as a board member for numerous companies as well as business advisor for the Shanghai Fengpu Industrial Park and the Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations & Trade Commission (Shanghai Foreign Investment Commission); Twin Gates Trading is currently operating from its Shanghai office providing the following services:

• Sourcing for Canadian and United States corporations,
• Consulting for international companies on how to successfully enter and work within the Chinese business and government environment,
• Securing Chinese government approvals for development project or establishment of new companies; (Twin Gates just finished the design, preliminary engineering, and obtaining government approvals for a five-star yacht club and marina in China. Development budget: $27 million),
• Development of strategic development and marketing plans,
• Working with its extensive list of private and public funding organizations to provide funding for businesses in China.

Ira has a masters degree in business management and has received numerous awards during his career with the latest being the Shanghai Silver Magnolia Award for his contribution to the economic growth in Shanghai.
